Wow.I can't believe the price of this Lacie has not gone down since the prior year I purchased this item.Because, I have FCP, and I bought it or edit particular, the reliability and durability required. It boots up without any problem and I cannot even hear that its on.On the other hand, my first external hard drives, Seagate has been and it always boot to the hard drive that would create a plug-out is incorrect. With that nightmare I wanted my next hard drive to be reliable and this Lacie has proved it.Ive had a year and no problems. I would recommend this Lacie if your out for an external hard drive, get this one! .
