The My DVR Expander does exactly what it says it will. Very pleased with the capability to store movies and play them right from the drive.The installation screens in the manual have been right there for Dish-Network. My only gripe would be that it does not have an on-off switch.I will not use it often because the DVR has plenty of onboard storage. To turn it off, you need to physically unplug it which is just a bit inconvenient but I knew that when I bought it..
