All the reviews I'd read were very positive. I checked out some of the other equipment that friends use and decided to spend a little more.It was a good decision. The 1050 is a well made device that performed exactly as described.I do not even need the instructions ... ok just a few FAQs. Fifteen minutes out of the box and I was calling friends in China.There is absolutely nothing that I should know before they purchase other than the basics of VOIP. Panasonic, A#1!!!.
